A local sandwich shop in a metropolitan area dedicated to providing fresh quality homemade sandwich to customers. Farmer’s highlights health-conscious options and homemade secret sauces. The shop offer a wide spectrum of competitive pricing, sandwich choices and nutrition balances for customers

Overview

My role as a UX designer and researcher, I take on a two-months project to address user problem. Many busy workers struggle to find time to order healthy, time-saving meal. To ease up this problem, I designed a mobile app that save time for users with easy ordering process.

With the design tool Figma, a simplifies design platform along with user-friendly interface for the app was created.

Sandra is a workaholic who needs quick and healthy meal options because they need to put all her energy at work.

Luke is energetic, workout at least three times a week and has been practice for future marathon race. Keeping in shape is one of the most important goal for him.

Mockups

Before usability study

During second usability study, users showed frustration with pickup time design. I separated “day” and “time” into two selection. When choosing “day” it will be the calendar mode to limited users jump between screen and ”time” for larger font for selection.

Wireframe design allowed users add monthly special into the cart with one click. After completed the usability studies, users can click monthly special and direct to menu details before add to the cart. I also removed the text to make the screen more visual appealing.
